"The Pat" on All Ears

In January 2007 I published my composition "The Pat" on a Swedish music site AllEars.
This is an instrumental piece of music that was recorded in my home recording studio.

In May, 2005 together with
Leslie Kot I arranged, produced and recorded a special version of Bob Dylans "Knockin´On Heavens Door" that was performed by 590 guitarists on GITARRENS HELGDAG-Guinness World Record Attempt, the biggest guitar show ever in Örebro, Sweden.

I played guitar on Ewa Bems record "Ewa Bem Loves The Beatles", recorded in 1984 at Polskie Nagrania in Warsaw (new edition in 2006, more on: http://ewabem.pl/muzyka.htm).

I played at International Jazz Festival Jazz nad Odra, Festiwal Piosenki Polskiej in Opole, Fama in Swinousjcie, Poznanska Wiosna Estradowa and Zaduszki Jazzowe in Krakow and was also member of the band of Festiwal Piosenki Aktorskiej in Wroclaw.

I worked as a sideman in music productions for Teatr Polski, Wytwornia Filmow Fabularnych and Polish Radio & TV in Wroclaw (there I also recorded compositions of my own) and taught youngsters to play the guitar at Jazz Workshops organized by Polish Jazz Society and Polish Radio & TV Wroclaw.

Projects in Sweden

Since 1985 I live in Lund, Sweden.
During many years I´ve toured in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany with several musicians & bands such as Håkan Nyqvist-Romuald Frey Duo (jazz), Janne Jansson Band (fusion), Keepers (dance music), Hoppe & The Gallery (bluesrock) and HOPPE (rock, pop).

About me

My name is Romuald Frey-guitarist, composer & teacher.
I came to Sweden 1985 from Wroclaw, Poland.

In 1976 I graduated from Institute of Mechanical and Power Engineering at The Wroclaw Technical University.

In 2003 I graduated from the Malmö University and teach today music, science & mathematics at Tuna School in Lund.

Occasionally, I play at clubs, pubs and music festivals both with others musicians and on my own.
